Cancer 2018 Love Horoscope

Cancer 2018 Love Horoscope

Cancer, in 2018 love is definitely in the air! If you walk into the New Year single, you can smile wide and remain confident that the universe plans on offering you incredible opportunities to meet someone with the power to really open your heart and bring you to your knees. It all began on October 10, 2017, when Jupiter, the planet of expansion and blessings, moved into your true love sector for the first time in over 12 years. This cycle is no minor event, and Jupiter will remain here through November 8, 2018. As a result, delicious possibilities lie ahead for you in matters of the heart.

You are certainly craving more depth in your love life this year, and a casual affair simply will not do. So when you meet someone who has an air of mystery and gives off that magnetic vibe screaming “There is so much more underneath the surface,” you’ll find yourself hooked. You could meet this person at any time between now and early November, but pay close attention to a first meeting with someone near May 25 or August 19 when Jupiter makes a perfect link to Neptune. The universe might very well send you a soul mate during these times. An ex might also come back into your life from October 5-31 while Venus is retrograde, and if so, you might find yourself hopelessly drawn in.

If you’re already in a relationship, there is no shortage of support for you and your mate. On January 15, April 14, and again on September 12, Jupiter will make a perfect link to Pluto, the planet of transformation, now in your partnership sector. You and your spouse or partner might focus your attention on your children and empowering them to become the best adults they’re capable of. If you have children together, you’ll be in harmonious agreement about all childrearing matters, making it easier for you to feel romantic with your love behind closed doors. If you’re considering having a baby, this might be your year. Fertility will be strong!

At the same time however, Saturn, the planet of structure and responsibility, will also move through your 7th House of Partnership. If you and your mate are committed, you’ll work through any rough patch together. If, however, you feel as if your relationship has become nothing but a burden, you’ll have to start getting real about how much you have left to give.

2018 Horoscope

2018 Horoscope

Gonna leave this here to do the compare at the end of next year.

OVERVIEW

Your soft, emotional core is what defines you, Cancer, but 2018 is full of opportunities to let the world know they shouldn’t mess with your tough exterior! When the dazzling sun enters your sign at the end of June, give yourself permission to let go of past hurts. You don’t have to take the blame for everything. Some things don’t work out no matter how much you want them to, so there’s no need to accept any misplaced blame.

Things to focus on for the coming month? Cooking, connecting with family (especially female relatives), and creating art. A satisfying trine between the sun in your sign and the moon, your emotional ruler, at the start of July lets you take full advantage of opportunities that cross your path, and decisions you make based on your intuition are spot on. It’s nice to be validated for your hard work, especially in your personal relationships.

Another important trine occurs between the Moon in your sign and the Scorpio sun in late October, and this time your psychic abilities and capacity to detect all types of nonsense are right on target. Good luck to anyone who tries to put one over on you. You won’t hesitate to call others on their ridiculousness.

ROMANTIC

The Cancer full moon (aka supermoon) in the beginning of January sets a fantastic mood for your love life. You get a burst of positive energy from the emotion-driven glow, and because it’s in your own sign, you feel the pull of this giant-looking orb as even greater than normal. You can achieve great things in your love life if you set your mind to it, Cancer, and taking the initiative comes easily and naturally. Make the first move without worrying about what the potential negative consequences might be. You’re truly in charge of your own destiny, and everyone will realize that once you’ve made your next big romantic move. Play to win. If you want it, it’s yours.

Love planet Venus enters your sign mid-May, bringing out your most nurturing, caring attributes. You love to cuddle and take care of others, and you’re happiest when your house is filled with the love you’ve created. There are a lot of emotional ups and downs during this transit, as your emotions guide your actions. You can be severely influenced by people who are emotionally manipulative, but you’ll never feel cheated or used if you follow your inner voice. You are naturally dedicated, warm, and devoted to those you love, and you’ll go through almost anything to protect what you consider yours. Feeling safe and secure is the driving force right now, and you’ll jump through hoops to make that happen.

The end of September brings difficult energy from a moon-Saturn square that’s hard to escape because you’re forced to deal with the results of past actions. When you think of your past relationships, how did they end? Did you take full responsibility for the part you played in your breakups or did you take the easy way out?

This aspect also exposes how the women in your life played a role in your romantic development and what part they may still play in your current relationships. You may feel unable to speak your mind because of the interference of your mom (or a mom-like figure) in your love life, which can make you feel like a kid again when dealing with love-related issues. We’re just saying, if you find yourself on a therapist’s couch talking about the current state of your love life, pay attention to the part where they delve into how you were raised!

CAREER

The moon is your emotional barometer, Cancer, and although you try to separate business from emotion, it’s difficult at best with most Crabs. You know the people you see crying at work? You’ve probably been that person many times (not because you want to but because you can’t help it). And because it’s virtually impossible for you to detach your emotions from the task at hand, it makes the fact that there are two full moons in January and no full moon in February rather unfortunate for you. The very beginning and last day of January will be perfect times to close out accounts and finish assigned tasks, but then you could spend all of February yearning for a good time to end things. Make sure you do a complete purge in late January so that you can make it a full month before the time is right to do it all again in early March.

Chatty Mercury coasts into your sensitive sign in the middle of June, which means you’ll approach communication emotionally, not logically (as you did when Mercury was just in intellectually leaning Gemini for the past several weeks). You’re much more likely to take things personally, which can be a bad idea when it comes to your career. Did your boss or potential employer offer you advice to help you grow? Probably. Did you internalize it and wonder why you can’t do anything right? Again, probably. The challenge during this time will be for you to not only listen objectively but also vocalize your opinions and passions without jeopardizing yourself or your career.

A tough sun-moon square at the end of December could raise your anxiety level or create tension between you and your past or current co-workers or networking group, because you see a discrepancy between the way they’re treated and the way you’d like to be or feel you deserve to be treated. Resist the urge to compare salaries, perks, benefits, and rewards or talk about your performance compared to that of anyone you work with or are competing against in the job market. Focus on yourself and your accomplishments. Work on strategies that will allow a boss or potential employer to see your merits on their own and not how they stack up against anyone else’s.

2012 The Year We Are All Going To Die

2012 The Year We Are All Going To Die

Oh it’s 2012 and according to experts I have until 12/21 to fulfill all my hopes and dreams. Personally I don’t think any of us will get off so easy as knowing when the end of time is coming. Too much of a mystery to belong to the human mind and all that. So I achieved one of my goals last year and learned how to leave work behind a bit and have more of a personal life. The whole relationship thing?? Well I’ve been a commitment phobe for 40 years so I think the fact that I actually gave it serious thought and consideration was a big enough step.  :^) I do think I have finally figured what I am and am not looking for and learned that although sometimes it does bother me that I am single it really has been the right thing for me. When I was younger I had the peace of knowing that I had to be true to myself and not settle for anything less than that one person who was perfect for me, not PERFECT, just perfect for me and if I didn’t find them so be it. I found that peace of belief again. Life will be what it will be and you just have to enjoy it for what it is.

I plan to do more things for myself this year, take care of myself for a change and do what I need to do to be happy. I want to go back to school, make sure I make time to see old friends instead of just brief comments on Facebook and the like. I used to pick a random subject that interested me and research and study the hell out of it just because, I’d like to do that again. I want to get back to the gym, not as some temporary attempt to lose weight but as a way to bring discipline and strength back into my life. It’s time for change. I’ve been reacting to what life throws at me for so long now I forgot I was once the type of person who made things happen for myself, who went after what I wanted with all I had win or lose. Guess I am looking at this as a year of possibilities. Been feeling a little bit of the old spark lately.

And now to the good stuff. The yearly horoscope. Last year’s is here. I did indeed learn to let go of what was holding me back. let’s see what this year will bring.

Year 2012 Overview

New beginnings have indeed arrived in your favor with the onset of 2012, Cancer. Although the biggest changes in the love realm won’t arrive until autumn, romance will return as a central theme for you in 2012 – just when you’d started to give up hope of anything new ever returning to your life! Although Pluto has been working on deeply transforming your partnership sector since 2008 (forcing you to shed the outmoded), you were indeed beginning to wonder if anything new would ever come to fill the void. And alas, it shall!

Saturn has been weighing heavily on your family and home sector over the past few years, bringing plenty of challenges your way. On one hand, this has been an incredibly grounding time filled with enough reality checks to put you firmly in touch with truth. It’s also revealed the importance of your roots, although it may have brought a wake of suffering, either through loss of relatives or a major strain on family relations. Take heart, dear Cancer – all is about to lighten up as Saturn moves out of a difficult aspect to your stars. When this cosmic taskmaster moves into your love and creativity sector in November, you’ll get serious about making more time for romance and self-expression. This also means you’ll be disciplined about your passions instead of throwing your precious energy around willy-nilly!

Expect to stay remarkably connected with others throughout 2012. Mars will be activating your communication for the first half of the year, keeping all your communication gadgets continually buzzing. During the first four months, the red planet will be retrograde, bringing mixed messages and retrospective reverie galore. Cancer folks are forever prone to dwelling in a nostalgic world, and this will be even more acute in 2012. The future is glorious – but first you’ve got to root yourself firmly in the present!

Year 2012 Romantic

Cancer, this is your year to take romance seriously! If you’ve been a dilettante, your time is running out. Saturn will enter your love sector this October and ask you to make important choices about what you will – and won’t – accept in your love life. The cosmic taskmaster planet will also require you to put up or shut up when it comes to romance. No longer can you say one thing and do another. Either you’re in it for the long haul … or you’re a free bird. There’s no longer any in-between.

Friends could easily become lovers, or vice versa, under the lucky auspices of Jupiter in your social sector. It also means you could meet someone very special through your circle of friends. You won’t be spending much time at home this year, so your chances of meeting someone special are multiplied by the amount of time you spend out with friends. Always dress for success, because you never know who you might meet!

Pluto continues to rock the very foundation of your significant relationships. This has been going on for so many years now, it’s starting to feel status quo. You’ve certainly been to hell and back so often in recent times that you’ve grown accustomed to picking up the pieces and starting over. The redeeming factor of this intense transit is that each time you go through a personal cataclysm, you emerge that much stronger. Your ability to regenerate is astonishing at this point. You’ve weeded out the toxic relationship patterns and – more importantly – the negative people from your life. When it comes to love, you are the Phoenix!

Well here we go….. Happy New Year and may it be filled with all you love, enjoy and need.

2011- What will it bring?

2011- What will it bring?

Happy New Year! Another one behind us and the new year is full of possibility and hope. I’ve spent the past ten years with work being my number one priority but think this year I may be ready to change that a bit. It will still always be in the “Top 3” because I don’t really know how to do anything half way, everything I involve myself in is sort of all or nothing but I think I am finally getting tired of being single and just may set out about changing that. Sort of a scary thought at this point in my life, I am pretty used to doing as I please when I please and never being accountable to any one else for it. Not to mention the only time in my life I went for the whole committed relationship thing it was the absolute worst of experiences. But we learn from these things right?, and I have always tried to confront that which I am most afraid of so here’s to courage, bravery and the adventure of the unknown.

The most positive and exciting thing for me will be getting back to living my life unfettered by the dreaded anxiety attacks. I think I have finally got them beat. For a while there even the sight of the smallest snowflake would set them off and I made it through a full on blizzard without having one. Trust me it’s a major accomplishment and feels absolutely awesome!  Those stupid things can turn your whole world upside down and even at my worst I knew I was lucky because I was never as ruled by them as some other poor people I have seen go through it. I know I could have probably resolved the whole thing quite some time ago had I opted to take pills for it but that’s just not the route for me. I needed to know I could beat them, totally on my own and in doing so I can be confident that they won’t be coming back.

So last year I posted my 2010 Yearly Horoscope and decided I would review it periodically throughout the year to test the validity of such a thing. That post can be found here http://www.kerrianne.com/2010/01/01/happy-new-year/ . Now it’s time for the new post with this year’s horoscope to see what the new year will bring.

Cancer Outlook for 2011

Cancer The Carb

Year 2011 Overview

Just when you thought that life couldn’t possibly throw any more twists or turns along life’s once tedious path, along comes the unpredictable but exhilarating energy of 2011 (operative word being ‘exhilarating’). Partnerships continue to confront you with your deepest needs and fears but your career shows incredible promise and renewal. You receive the lucky touch of Jupiter from January to June. Expect major expansion and recognition on all fronts.

Promotions, opportunities to expand your social world and work-related travel are all potential gifts when the wheel of fortune spins in your favor for the first half of the year. The second half of 2011 brings a spectacular slew of new friends, alliances and networking opportunities when Jupiter moves into your house of dreams, goals and community. Venus showers you with extra doses of love and cash for the month of July, just in time for your birthday. And Mars brings the action, energy and work in August and early September.

Get ready to jet set this spring and/or summer when the planet of glamour enters your long-distance travel sector this April. Your homebody instincts give way to the lure of travel and adventure in 2011. Fall and winter bring the return of dreamy Neptune to your sector of transformation for one last jaunt between August and 2012.

Year 2011 Romantic

The South Node quickly finishes the run in Cancer by early January, calling up choices you’ve made in the past and asking you to learn from any mistakes that weakened your personal integrity. You’re learning to trust your gut when it comes to love and relationships rather than seeing what you want to see. You’re also getting in touch with just how sensitive you are and how important it is not take on other people’s emotional baggage.

The planetary heavyweight, Saturn ruling karmic lessons continues his transit through the relationship sign of Libra (consequently at the very core of your horoscope.) Lessons that began in 2010 in the love department get put to the test and require you to go even deeper. You’re getting the courage to cut the umbilical cords that have only served to choke your growth. Comfort and security are one thing, but if you’re wasting your time, you’re wasting your time, Cancer. You can no longer get away with rationalizing your feelings. The truth is in your belly.

Pluto, the lord of the underworld and deep, one-way transformation continues to reveal any repressed issues and power struggles in significant relationships. Consider that you’re only in the early stages of a heavy long-term process of self-discovery and shedding skin. Letting go has never been more essential to your overall wellbeing. Relationships take on a heavier vibe and ask you to commit thereby eliminating any residual fluff. Those relationships that no longer serve you will fall away, ready or not. And there is no going back under Pluto’s inevitable one-way metamorphosis.

I’ll be back in 2012 to check this out and post on the past!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Cancer The Carb

Cancer The Crab

Happy New Year!!!!!

Wow 2010!

So it occurred to me that if I do this correctly I can perform a little experiment. Every year so many people, including myself read their horoscope for the upcoming year and it’s filled with love, wealth, and excitement. How many people actually ever refer back to it to see how right/wrong it was? So I am going to post mine here and follow it along for the next year. (I hope. I’ve not been very consistent with keeping this blog up-to-date.) Drumroll please…

Year 2010 Overview

One thing that all Crabs (astrological Cancers or the seafood type of crab) know deep in their hearts is that someone, somewhere out there knows how great it would be to bust them wide open and eat them with melted butter. The big news for you this year, Cancer, is that Pluto has moved into your Seventh House, which rules marriage, partnerships and close relationships. This means that someone may very well be cracking your heart open in the next year. Update… Nope not unless you count my new found obsession with Peter Steele.

Cancer has a bit of a reputation for enjoying doom and gloom. You don’t. You just seem to get more than your fair share of it. It must be that thick shell of yours. Everyone assumes you can just take it.
The good news is that you earned that reputation because you can take it, and more. And often, your greatest moments come when you have overcome the greatest obstacles. Thankfully, the roadblocks you face in 2010 won’t be that devastating, but they’ll certainly give you an opportunity to shine. New support and new energy will be entering your life from unexpected and overlooked people and things, and you’ll be able to soar above it all! Update …. Well this is sort of true. I definitely had some work related set backs but as it turned out got through it and it brought about the opportunity to work with some amazing people whose contributions exceeded even the original expectations!

Year 2010 Career

As far as your work life goes, 2010 divides up into two nice, clearly defined chunks: the first half of the year is going to present struggles, and the second half will see a boatload of new opportunities. January and February will be a lot of work — literally and figuratively — almost as if everyone ignored their jobs during the run up to Christmas, and then decided to drop everything on your desk. Although your relationships with co-workers may be strained at this time, it isn’t anything you can’t handle. Be careful not to drag too much of that work stress home with you to a partner, particularly in January. Rather than dwell on it, do your best to find a way to take that experience and use it to your benefit. Update… very true.

June and July will bring some exciting opportunities for advancement. You’ll be getting more recognition for your efforts, and the possibility of a raise is in store. If you don’t have a regularly scheduled salary review planned for that time, things may be going well enough that you might want to bring the subject up anyway. Even the seed of that notion planted then can take root later. March to May will urge you to really do something about your actual cash-on-hand situation. You’ll have both an increased drive to increase your security, and (paradoxically) the urge to overspend. Try to avoid “emotional overspending” during that time, and the rest of the year should work out for you. Update … well this is always true. I always make sure to have cash on hand and I am ever so good at spending it..lol!

Year 2010 Romantic

After a year in which you felt that you weren’t being heard — whether by a spouse, or your calls for an adequate mate went unanswered — things will be shaking loose in dramatic manner in 2010. Two eclipses this year will have a particular effect on your relationship with a partner. In January, an eclipse in your Partnership House will bring issues to the forefront. If you have an existing relationship, tensions that have been building will become unavoidable; and if you aren’t, you may suddenly find yourself more dissatisfied with that situation (or a new partner may suddenly come into your life). In either case, the more dramatic of the effects may be short-lived but will give you the opportunity to make some long-needed changes.

Pluto also continues its long journey though this department of your life, and Pluto demands change and transformation. Although this doesn’t necessarily mean bad news, it will certainly require that you address any issues between you and your partner, and — maybe more importantly — that you question within yourself what a committed relationship really means to you. Is it possible you’re in the right relationship for the wrong reason? Could you be in the wrong relationship for the right reason? Inner work can be difficult, especially when it involves another person, but ultimately it’s always worth doing in the long run.

As far as romance in general goes, however, it’s more a good year than a bad one. May and June in particular will see new romantic opportunities coming your way, and will pump new life into a current relationship. Update…. nope nope nope nope. Boring and uneventful was the romance department in my life for 2010.

This should be interesting.

Happy New Year – Entry for January 1, 2009

Happy New Year – Entry for January 1, 2009

Happy New Year! Hope it is a happy, prosperous, lucky and loved filled year for everyone.

Today’s clean slate day and I can’t wait to see what ends up written on mine this year. I slept through it all last night, didn’t even wake up from all the noise in the street. Passed out aound 9pm, felt like crap yesterday. But it’s all good feel great today.

I don’t really get into the whole New Year’s Resolution thing as I tend to think it puts to much pressure on you to stick to them and everyone keeps inquiring if you are sticking to them. Not for me. I did do something thinking today on what I can do to improve my life this upcoming year, what are the things I really need and want and I think I have a pretty good idea what they are and how I can start down the path of achieving and obtaining them. Time will tell.

This is my horoscope from the NY Daily News for 2009.

CANCER JUNE 21-JULY 22

The Year Ahead Money is important, because not having enough can result in sleepless nights. Money and the perfect love mate to spend your nights with are the two things that provide a sense of security, and both are achievable in 2009.

Love Vibe There’s a desire to dominate relationships, and for this reason it’s advisable to connect with a love mate who’s your equal.

Most Romantic Months January: With a planetary overload in your love zone, anything is possible. Jan. 11: The full moon makes magic happen. November: The combination of the moon and Venus sends love vibrations. Nov. 16: The full moon is charged with romance.

Family Around April, a family member could ask for a favor.

Career and Finance Money is abundant and life-balance is crucial.

Luckiest Month January: Love and money are combined. Your ultimate wish can be granted. June and July: New moons in your sign for both these months can change your life, all for the better!

Defining Moments July 22: A new beginning! A solar eclipse in Cancer makes it a highly magical and prosperous time. Two full moons in December and a lunar eclipse on Dec. 31 signifies a time of sudden change – stay levelheaded rather than being controlled by your emotions.

Let’s see how it pans out. Here’s to 2009!
